Saliee O'Brien was the author of many best-sellers, including "Captain's Woman," "Bayou," "Cajun," and "Creole." She was born in Appleton City, Missouri in 1908, and died in 2002 in Hollywood, Florida. At the time of her death, there were numerous short stories and other material that were never published. Many of these are now being considered for publication.
