As a mum living with metastatic breast cancer, helping children understand and process a parents cancer is something the author is passionate about. With the aim to encourage families to adopt open and honest communication, and avoid children feeling scared, isolated and alone during a parents treatment with cancer, Nicola is working on building a wide range of useful resources to promote the emotional well being and effective communication during some of the most difficult times a family will face.
