"AAARGH I can't do it!" Do your children or students get angry when something doesn't go their way? Or when they are trying something new? Do they lose confidence and give up? Anger is a natural emotion. Can children learn to recognize the signs when they are feeling angry? Not only can they learn to recognize their own feelings, but they can also use the strategy of "I Can Check My Senses" to get past the anger and move forward in a positive way. How does Carnuli help Nyx get past the anger when struggling to learn the game of Wabble? "I Can Check My Senses", like every book in the Power of Thought Series, begins with a conflict that every child can relate to and teaches an evidence-based strategy that adults can model for everyday use. Children will learn, in a fun way, how to problem-solve and find positive solutions to everyday situations. The Power of Thought children's book series has been developed alongside clinicians, educators and parents to use as a proactive resource in teaching children emotional literacy. Join us on the fictional planet of Tezra where every being is made of crystals and glows in the colour of their emotions.
