The Munich-born author began writing at the age of seven. As a teenager she won several writing competitions. After studying to become a translator and interpreter, Kirsten Sar decided to pursue a career in journalism. After completing her traineeship, she wrote for daily newspapers, magazines and journals before she came to the German TV station "Bayerisches Fernsehen", where she still works as editor today. She published her children's books about Lea and her friends in 2012/2013. Illustrator was Leila Morgenstern. Since Kirsten Sar has dealt extensively with topics like success, goal setting, corporate leadership and management, she decided to pass on her knowledge in her next book: "Wie kommt die Gans ins Adlernest?", a humorous, inspiring and motivating parable, which was also published in German bookstores in 2022. This narrative is about how to set goals, how to overcome obstacles, and how strategy, routine and the right attitude can change life forever. In her book "I Can Do Anything" she uses the power of affirmations to develop children into strong personalities. Kirsten Sar now lives in Bavaria.
