Autorenporträt
Wanda L. Scott is a Leader and an Educator. She is compelled to reach out to others to encourage them in recognizing the power that is available to them in perfecting a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. She has a heart for people, and uses her gifts of writing, speaking and teaching to reach them where they are and encourage them in Christ. Rev. Wanda L. Scott was first licensed in Maryland in 2005 under Rev. Dr. Lee P. Washington at Reid Temple AME Church. Later Wanda was ordained at Edmondson Chapel Church, under Rev. Dr. Ron W. Parham. There she was on the ministerial staff, led the Love in Action & Matthew's Pantry ministries, and served the Lord as she was needed. Wanda's love for the Word of God has led her to start a women's bible study called "A Word of Encouragement", which ministered to women from all over the city of Nashville. Wanda also preached monthly at the Women's Rescue Mission on Rosa Parks at their weekly Chapel Service in the Hope Center for three years. Rev. Scott is a sought after Conference Speaker & Teacher. Wanda believes that ministry is woven into every area of her life....a life of relationships. Wherever she goes and whoever she comes in contact with there is an opportunity to listen, encourage and share God's love. Wanda Scott loves to serve God by preaching and teaching Jesus Christ in local churches, and doing outreach ministry in the city of Nashville and surrounding areas. Wanda enjoys educating others about God's love and healing power, hoping that they would seek God in those areas to have more abundant life. As Micah declares from the Lord in chapter 6 verse 8, we are to know what the Lord requires of us, which is to do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly before our God. Wanda knows this that these three remain, faith, hope and love, and the greatest of these is Love. Wanda is the author of A Lifetime of Relationships: Letter's, Poems and Words of Love. A Lifetime of Relationships has a companion workshop that stresses God's Word on Godly Relationships. Wanda's most recent book, I Can Relate: How Not to Lose Yourself in Relationships takes a candid look at how to not get lost in relationships. She continues to write and has more books coming out soon. Wanda is currently a Faculty member at Nashville State Community College. She is a native of Nashville, TN and a Hampton University and Johns Hopkins Alumni.
