Ryszard Grö, seit 2012 katholischer Priester der ErzdiözeseChicago; stammt aus Polen (Erzdiözese Breslau), wo er 1988ordiniert wurde. Er promovierte in Theologie auf der Grundlageeiner Arbeit über die Mystik des Hl. Johannes vom Kreuz, diean der Universität von Navarra in Pamplona angefertigt wurde(Spanien). In Chicago war er neben der pastoralen Arbeit inmehreren Pfarreien Mitherausgeber der polnischen Ausgabevon Catholic New World (Katolik), der Monatszeitschrift derErzdiözese Chicago, und Dozent am Polnischen KatechetischenProgramm, wo er unterrichtet bis heute. Er schrieb mehrereBücher über Theologie und mehrere Artikel über die zisterziensische Mystik.Sein Hobby ist die mittelalterliche Spiritualität des 11./12. Jahrhunderts, dessen Wissener durch Reisen zu den Internationalen Mittelaltersymposien auf der ganzen Weltentwickelt und vertieft und die Ergebnisse seiner Forschung präsentiert. Derzeit ist erPastor der St. William Parish in Chicago.
