His plays include Rainbow Kiss (Royal Court Theatre), Dream Me a Winter (Old Vic), Wassail Play (Theatre Royal Dumfries) and Elevenses with Twiggy (BBC Radio 4). He also writes for The Guardian, The Independent and The Times. His book A Dangerous Place was shortlisted for the 2017 CWA Gold Dagger Award for Non-Fiction.
