And It Will Rise, A Novel Modern Russian literature. The book is in the Russian language. "Here you should make a paradise that you don't want to leave. If you manage, you will wish to stay here yourself. Until then, simply consider your work unfinished and you cannot leave," hears a landscape designer who came to rebuild the country estate of her influential employer. The trapped girl must accept the victim's fate, resign herself to powerlessness and helplessness, or fight to the last. Or should we indeed embrace all that happens and believe that we are creating a paradise around ourselves no matter the circumstances? This is a story about modern Russia, love and trauma, Stockholm syndrome and its overcoming, the secrets of nature and the mysteries of the human soul, isolation and innovation, true freedom and true strength.
