Autorenporträt
Howard Barker was born in the rural South nearly one hundred years ago. After serving in World War II, he made his way to New York and worked his way up to a successful career in set design for television commercials and films. For years, he has been on and off writing his memoir, looking back on a life richly lived. He worked hard and played harder, married once before and almost again before meeting his wife, Madeleine, in Denmark, the love of his life, eighteen years younger. They have three children and three grandchildren, who bring them great joy.
