Professional Chef, Health and Fitness Enthusiast. Since his teenage years, David has been intensely passionate about food and cooking. And as the only child in his family, living with his mom alone since 12 years old, he had no other option but to take care of himself, and cooking food was one of the best examples of how he did that. Born and raised in San Francisco, CA, David started his cooking career early. At 16 years old, he was already an assistant cook in one of the middle-class restaurants in the city center without any real education needed. After high school, he decided to improved his skills and gained more knowledge at the San Francisco Baking Institute. Once finished, he worked as a sous chef in one of the local high-end restaurants. But David didn't stop there. He has always had this dream of owning his own restaurant one day, and he truly was obsessed over it. Just after 1 year of working at the highest level, David didn't hesitate to take a chance for his dream. How did that go? Well, I'd say that you wouldn't be here, reading this story, if his dream wasn't successful. Today, after 8 years of hard work and dedication, David Peterson owns 3 restaurants in 3 different locations and truly lives a life of his dreams. During his free time, he loves spending time with his wife, Jennette, and two beautiful boys - Adam and Ben. He is also a huge fan of fitness and enjoys cycling and working out at least 3 times a week. Just recently, David discovered his new passion for writing and book publishing - an opportunity to share his ideas and knowledge with more people around the world. So even those who can't reach and enjoy the food at his amazing restaurants can create a piece of these wonderful meals at their own home and get the cooking education needed to surprise their family and friends every time they come over.
