I Kissed the Devil in the Pouring Rain is Molly Dickin's debut poetry book. The poems explore topics such as loss of innocence, experimentation, religion, trauma, mental health and unconditional versus situational love. Molly invites the reader to take a front row seat to moments filled with vulnerability, betrayal, pain, lust, grief, ecstasy and freedom. The book title is a nod to the way that muses are so often depicted as being all good or all evil, and throughout the book Molly shows us the complexities of the humans behind the devil and angel masks. Molly Dickin is a writer from Vermont. She has been writing songs and poems for as long as she can remember. Molly loves any opportunity to unleash her creativity and spends a lot of her free time working on photography projects and making music. Molly has an adventurous spirit and loves to travel and go camping, but is also just as happy playing board games and watching superhero movies at home. Molly currently resides in Williston, Vermont with her fiancé Nate.
