Frelisha Moneá Jefferson was born and raised in Arlington,Texas where she has taught toddlers and 2-year-olds at TexasRising Star Daycare for four years. Frelisha's love of youngpeople motivated her to write to share some of her expertisegained over ten years of working with youth. From the age ofnine, Frelisha began helping her aunt run a home daycare. Asa teen, Frelisha worked with youth as a youth leader at a localchurch and a stylist at Cool Cuts for Kids.
