The objectives of the reform of the educational system in Algeria are clear: the development of remedial approaches in the classroom and the fight against academic failure. The school seeks to provide each child with three tools for social integration: reading, writing and arithmetic. After a pre-survey on the field, we found that a large number of learners do not manage to read and write, and those who do avoid even getting to work. In addition, a large number of teachers have difficulties in identifying gaps and setting up a remediation system, especially in the field of reading, hence our research theme on the identification and remediation of reading difficulties in learners of the 5th grade, while wondering how to identify the reading difficulties of learners and how to remedy them? In addition, is there really a consideration of the diversity of learners?
