His friend's face is so special he could spot it anywhere, even in a crowd of a million-gazillion people. Because when you have a best friend, you're never alone. Brad Davidson's charming text pairs beautifully with Rachel Más Davidson's funny, heartwarming illustrations to create a lively picture book that celebrates the joys of true friendship. With different emotions represented on every page, the book is a wonderful tool for social-emotional learning and for helping children recognize facial expressions - a key stage of early childhood development. It has thoughtful character-education lessons on empathy, vulnerability, caring and kindness. This book would make an excellent gift as an expression of love to someone - no matter their age.
