Monika Jephcott Thomas grew up in Dortmund Mengede, north-west Germany and moved to the UK In 1966. She is the author of historical fiction novels Fifteen Words (published in 2016), The Watcher (published in 2017); I Love You Billy Langley (published in 2019) is her third novel.
