Karen S. Robbins has devoted her life to children as an elementary teacher, Romper Room TV teacher, mother of four sons, award-winning children's author, publisher, book/toy designer and inventor with a U.S. patent. Karen is a right brain creative whose passion is creating books and toys for children. Karen's most recent publication is Shoe Print Art Second Edition by Hide and Seek Press. Karen specializes in the young child and those with special needs. She created the innovative THINK board book series (Schiffer Books) to teach analytical thinking skills for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and beginning readers. Karen holds a M.Ed from the Univ. of Puget Sound. She has been a long time member of the S.C.B.W.I., Women In Toys, I.B.P.A, and the Authors Guild. Karen lives in Arizona where she continues to create and write for children in support of literacy. She believes all children need to learn to read.
