Melissa Face's writing has appeared in numerous local and national publications, including The Myrtle Beach Herald, Guideposts, Country Woman, Farm & Ranch Living, Prairie Times, Richmond Family Magazine, Boomer Magazine, Sasee Magazine, Nine Lives: A Life in Ten Minutes Anthology, Parhelion Literary Magazine, and twenty-one volumes of Chicken Soup for the Soul. Melissa has worked as a hostess, newspaper reporter, addictions counselor, and master control operator at a television station. She has operated a backhoe and an excavator, groomed the Clydesdales at Busch Gardens, and once marshaled in a Canadair Regional Jet at the Myrtle Beach International Airport.
