Clare Helen Welsh is a picture book writer and former elementary school teacher, which ignited her love of storytelling and reading. She lives with her family in Devon, England. Kevin & Kristen Howdeshell are a husband-wife illustration team known as The Brave Union. They have collaborated on more than twenty picture books since first working together many years ago on their senior thesis. They live with their children in Kansas City, Missouri.
