Autorenporträt
After careers as a woodworker, installation artist, musician/song writer, children's museum director, elementary school teacher, high school art teacher, and brain-based learning developer (neurontrek.org), Phil has turned to writing children's books. Originally, "I Sleep in the Stars" was to be paintings based on Phil's song of the same title, but the project developed into a story as well. The song inspired the story, and now the story has inspired more songs, which he plans to develop into a video. Two sequels are also in the works, but Phil has taken time out to paint a mural to honor Ukrainian refugees in the city of Scalea, Italy. We'll see what the future holds...
