Joanne is writing a psychological thriller while enjoying recent retirement from a career as an attorney and English teacher. She is fortunate enough to have two very funny daughters who each have one child. A running joke came to life when her sleep-deprived daughters called her and began every sentence with, "I think my baby is broken," and then followed that up with the specific challenge or dilemma of the day. She immediately took a break from writing her novel to draft this book.
