I hope this book helps individuals communicate better, especially those who disagree on what racism is and also those who misunderstand how bulling can and does affects someone life. This book is planned to help you see the different sides of a conversation as well as, helping to open new conversation on the topic. I don't want to analyze or judge anyone. I want readers to challenge themselves by asking hard questions' No one defines racism, they respond to it.

Autorenporträt
I was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey. At the age of 4 my brother (age 6) and I were placed in foster care where we both lived until we both got married. I enjoyed art as a young person so I attended private Arts High School. I loved the school but hated it at the same time. Being so insecure about being a foster child, I did not make friends easily and was bullied often at school because of my looks. After High School I attended a school of Cosmetology and worked in a Beauty Salon until I got married. Once married, I was a housewife for 6 years before getting divorced. I have always wanted to reach out and help young people. My next job was at a Daycare Center for 11 years as a head teacher. I loved working with the children and this also gave me the opportunity to work with and mentor their parents. While working at the Daycare Center I attended Community College in the evenings and received my Associate Degree in Education. I left the Day Care after 11 years for a career I loved even more. I would tell friends and family, I never dreaded Monday mornings. which was so true. My career was working with the community as a Community Resource Specialist for the City of Orange Police Department. I did public speaking, community meetings and so much more. In 1995 as the Community outreach person for the city I began working as a volunteer and Coordinator for a youth program. "First In Orange". I ran this program for 16 years Working with teens was a dream come true. I am now retired and started writing this book to help young people as well as adults to better understand one's feelings when someone disrespects them. I hope my message reaches the young and old and communication becomes a priority in their lives and adults realize even if they do not want to be, they are role models in young peoples life.
