Laurence Fenton is a writer and editor living in Cork, Ireland. He received a PhD in history from University College Cork and spent most of his twenties writing published fiction while working as an archaeologist across Ireland and England. He is the author of three history books including Frederick Douglass in Ireland: 'The Black O'Connell' (Collins Press).
