Corinne M. Litzenberg has taught elementary school for thirty-two years in the Diocese of Wilmington, De, and Cecil County Public Schools. She received her BS in elementary and special education from the University of Delaware and her MEd in curriculum and instruction from Loyola College of Maryland. She received her EdD from Wilmington University in Delaware, where she studied environmental education. Even in her deepest grief of losing her son, Corinne continues to live her life with purpose and meaning. Litzenberg and her husband, Dale, divide their time between the Delaware Shore and the Upper Chesapeake Bay. They have a standard poodle named George who is a therapy dog and visits elderly people in senior centers. Her books can be found on her website, corinnelitzenberg.com. Daphne Blaker is largely self-taught in the medium of watercolor. Growing up in New Jersey, being married and raising two children there, many vacations were spent at the Jersey Shore. She and her husband Walt are now retired and living near the beach in Lewes, DE, but prefer beaches with palm trees. She has produced many landscapes, florals and still lifes, and is a member of the Cape Artists, Rehoboth Art League, and Delaware Watercolor Society.
