These proceedings represent the work of contributors to the 7th International Conference on Gender Research (ICGR 2024), hosted by The Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona, Spain on 25-26 April 2024. The Conference Chair was Professor Carmen-Pilar Martí Ballester, from the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona, Spain. ICGR is a well-established event on the academic research calendar and now in its 7th year the key aim of this diverse conference is to provide an opportunity for participants from different backgrounds and cultures to share ideas and meet the people who hold them. The scope of papers ensured an interesting two days. The subjects covered in these proceedings illustrate the wide range of topics that fall into this important and ever-growing area of research. The opening keynote presentation at the conference was given by Professor Olga Salido, from Complutense University of Madrid, Spain, on the topic of The Third Puzzle of Gender and Science: Gendering Knowledge Transfer. The second day of the conference was opened with an address by Professor Sara Martin Alegre, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Spain, who spoke about Doing Masculinities Studies as a Feminist Woman: Aims and Gains. With an initial submission of 161 abstracts, after the double blind, peer review process there are 49 Academic research papers, 7 PhD research papers, 1 Masters Research paper and 3 work-in-progress papers published in these Conference Proceedings. These papers represent research from Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Egypt, Ethiopia, Finland, Germany, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Lebanon, Malaysia, México, Morocco, Netherlands, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Riyadh, Romania, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Syria, Turkiye, UK, and USA.
