ICT development is a global trend seeing m-health change the healthcare system in many countries. By creating transparent health-related mobile applications, companies are opening themselves to the needs of the elderly, the number of whom will see an unprecedented increase in the coming years. M-health applications are the arrival of new preventive measures that control health status. In addition to a health assessment, users receive tips telling them how to take better care of themselves. M-health can be seen as an element of life for the elderly, acting as a motivator to, for example, increase physical exercise for disease prevention. Keeping in mind the various behaviours of the elderly described in the chapters of the book, including social and economic elements, it can be argued that older people without access to and uninhibited use of ICT will not improve their quality of life, including health. Therefore, full acceptance of m-health by the elderly is important.
