This research is to further stress the barriers in adoption of ICT in education sector. The key purpose of this research is to study the barriers faced by trained teachers of Maldives in adoption of ICT in education. As a data collection tool, questionnaires were used. This analysis was carried out by the sample size of 90 trained teachers from Baa atoll, Maldives. The mathematical method called SPSS was utilized to evaluate the responses obtained by means of the questionnaire. To explain the variables dimensionality, numerous computational approaches have been used for the purposes of data interpretation and hypothesis testing. This report has accomplished its research objectives related to the resolution of this study's question statement. In conclusion from the results obtained, it can be said that each selected barrier except lack of effective training and lack of time have a positive impact on the ICT Adoption. The chosen barriers which were considered by the study are lack of availability of ICT resources, lack of time, lack of effective training and lack of technical support.
