Funalia trogii, also known as Trametes trogii, is a white-rot basidiomycete that grows on lignin bearing wood and is reported to have cytotoxic and aniticancer property. Shazia Rashid is currently working as a faculty at Amity University, India. She received her Ph.D.and post doctoral training from University of Ulster,U.K. After which she continued her research at Nuffield Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, University of Oxford. She has authored numerous research articles in peer-reviewed journals.
