The purpose of the research was to identify the level of occupational stress of a group of volunteer firefighters from the municipality of Guadalajara de Buga in the department of Valle. This study is framed, methodologically, in the descriptive transversal type. The population under study consisted of 25 volunteer firefighters, 24 of whom participated fully. The Psychosocial Risk Battery of the Ministry of Social Protection and the Javeriana University was used as an instrument, which consists of four surveys, including a specific one to determine the Health Conditions related to the level of stress. Before the application of the survey, an informed consent form was provided for each person under study to sign, authorizing the use of their personal data in the research process. All the variables were processed by descriptive statistics; from which it can be said that in general terms, the firefighters belonging to the study group are presenting high emotional levels of stress due to the intralaboral activity.
