Karma Yangdon ha conseguito un master in inglese (insegnamento dell'inglese come seconda lingua) presso l'Università EFLU di Hyderabad. Ha studiato TESEL con particolare attenzione ai disturbi dello sviluppo della seconda lingua, all'insegnamento centrato sul discente e agli approcci all'insegnamento delle lingue. Ha undici anni di esperienza di insegnamento nelle scuole e nelle università.
