This book investigates both the common psychological and cultural points of identity crisis in Cormac McCarthy's Border Trilogy that comprised All the Pretty Horses (1992), The Crossing (1994), and Cities Of the Plain (1998). The Trilogy is a story about American cowboys set on the borders between the USA and Mexico, where the major characters face ultimate confusion in their exposure to the identity crisis of their dying culture. This Study is divided into four chapters and a conclusion.
