Politics and power do infiltrate literary productions. Literature does in most cases generate an ideological perspective favoring politics and promoting power, or even resisting power and opposing to it as a revolting medium. It can as well be an honest reflection to the societal different discursive conditions. And that is why literature has always been a controversial notion. Although it is assumed that literature is a universal product, which it is indeed in many cases, it is also suggested to be a tool for breeding violence, faking awareness, and spreading prejudices. Eventually, what is a literary text if not an accumulation of life experiences, of particular cultural background, and of a historical reference!
