Idunn's Trees is an illustrated story and coloring book that tells a new tale about the Goddess Idunn and her response to Loki's efforts to steal her magical apples. There are also notes, photos and pictures that give a little information about the Norse myths, beliefs and customs that form a background to the story. A Toad is prominently featured, with a bonus poem about him at the end (he refused to stay out of the story). Winifred Hodge Rose is an Elder of the Troth, an inclusive, international Heathen organization, and has followed a Heathen path for more than thirty years, serving as a scholar, writer, leader, teacher, priestess, and oracular spaewife in many Heathen venues. She publishes articles, poems, ceremonies, rituals, and other items of Heathen interest on her website HeathenSoulLore.net, and has published for more than two decades in "Idunna: A Journal of Inclusive Heathenry" (formerly titled "Idunna: A Journal of Northern Tradition"). Her other Heathen books include: "Heathen Soul Lore Foundations: Ancient and Modern Germanic Pagan Concepts of the Souls;" "Heathen Soul Lore: A Personal Approach;" and a children's illustrated story and activity book, "Idunn's Trees: A New Tale of the Norse Goddess Idunn."
