Autorenporträt
Charles Bachman has published six books of poetry, and his articles have appeared in "Modern Drama" and "The German Quaterly." He holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from Indiana University, and is a Professor Emeritus of Buffalo State College, where he specialized in Native American/American Indian Literature. In 2010, he was given the Buffalo State President's Award for the Advancement of Equity and Campus Diversity. For twenty-five years he had a second active career as an operatic baritone, singing twenty-six major roles as well as numerous concert and recital performances. He is a three-year Army veteran, and enjoys climbing mountains in the Adirondacks with his wife, Nancy Townsend.
