Alain Aspect was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2022 "for experiments with entangled photons, establishing the violation of Bell inequalities and pioneering quantum information science." He is professor at the Institut d'Optique-Université Paris-Saclay, professor at the École Polytechnique, and director of research emeritus at the CNRS. Alain Aspect, a reçu le prix Nobel de physique 2022 "pour les expériences avec des photons intriqués établissant les violations des inégalités de Bell et ouvrant une voie pionnière vers l'informatique quantique". Il est directeur de recherche émérite au CNRS, a été professeur à l'Institut d'optique de l'école polytechnique.
