Ever since she turned eight, Sova is sure that she will become a dragon rider once she has grown up. Seeing that it might take a little while longer to reach that goal than she had originally anticipated, she finished her master's degree in European Literature in Berlin first, where she convinced her professors to let her write her final thesis about old mythology in modern times. Until her dragon finally finds her and takes her to the sky, Sova will happily stay in her hometown near the Baltic Sea and write about her experiences as a queer gal in a rapidly changing world.
