If Jesus Was a Rapper, how would His music sound? Would He perform in clubs that serve alcohol, or would He stick to doing church concerts? Would He collaborate with artists who curse and live a lifestyle different than His? These questions, rarely considered, are designed to cause us to look deeper into the life of Jesus and the kind of person that He was. And regardless of if you are a rapper yourself or completely turned off by the genre, hip-hop is now the most popular style of music globally and is present in almost every culture on earth. I believe that seeking to see Jesus in our modern context is extremely valuable and is the key to faithfully following His example. This book uses my 20+ year rap career to guide us through many questions similar to those I have asked above. But most importantly, by the end of this book, my goal is to make Jesus your new favorite rapper.
