Autorenporträt
The author was born in Angola in 1989, grew up in Germany, and moved to Spain in 2017. Her 1st book, »Bittersüßes Chaos«, was published in September 2022, followed by her 2nd book, »Meine Haut packt aus«, in January 2023. This secured her 2nd place at the Book Awards in March 2023. After her recent success, she had the honor of hosting readings in Germany, Spain, and Portugal, allowing her to connect with the audience on a deeper level by sharing touching moments of pain, strength, and vulnerability. Brigitte has been overjoyed by the influx of positive feedback and international interest, which inspired her to release an English version of »Meine Haut packt aus«. She hopes to reach even more people by inviting them to reconsider and reflect on the effects and consequences of racism, as well as to inspire people to contribute to making the world a more peaceful and loving place.
