Born and raised in England, the author is a great grandmother who has loved to read since she was very young. She believes that a child's imagination is a wonderful thing, and that books are a great way to foster that imagination. Like all parents and grandparents, she's read many bedtime stories, but the ones the children enjoyed best were the stories she created from her own imagination.
