J. Arvid Ellison is known for mixing fact with fiction, drama, and pathos. His descriptive skill from his first two works, Dangerous Fishing and Dangerous Blessings, carries over into his third novel. He writes from his home in Castle Rock, Colorado and is a retired army colonel who understands the wishes and desires of soldiers returning from war zones. He was deployed to multiple countries in many diverse operations. He appreciates the soldier mindset and spins this story from a mixture of true facts and dramatic action.
