Beverly Ann Needham graduated with a bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University, taught elementary school, and married her rocket scientist husband Gregory A. Needham who graduated from UC Davis with a PhD in physics. Together they raised seven children. A writer, musician, teacher, and philanthropist, Beverly shares her life experiences with humility and frankness. She treats the subject of mental illness with compassion and understanding, for she spent many years suffering from depression, bipolar disorder, and multiple personality disorder.
