Jordana Chana Mayim is an author, illustrator, and world traveler. She's also taught English to people from all around the globe. Those different perspectives, along with her need to challenge the madness that society has labeled sanity, her reverence for nature, and her abiding belief that love is our purpose, inform all of her writing. In her inspirational and philosophical illustrated books, she also shares all the light that overcoming depression taught her how to see. It was an over 30-year struggle, and two of the most important lessons she learned are: 1) suffering is not a sickness; 2) healing and happiness are possible, and with the right help, they are inevitable.
