Developing economies aim for robust growth through sound financial management and transparency, essential for improved service delivery and achieving development goals. This book spotlights the Integrated Financial Management Information Systems (IFMIS) role in enhancing Kenya's Ministry of Devolution and Planning's services. Despite its 2003 introduction, its impact lacked thorough assessment until this study, which shows IFMIS's positive effects on fiscal planning and accountability. The findings support full IFMIS integration in government agencies for better financial governance and call for user training and mandatory implementation.
