The aim of the research is to develop and strengthen environmental education at the Federal Institute of Pernambuco, Recife campus, through interdisciplinarity and transdisciplinarity, in order to contribute to the construction of the socio-ecological identity of the employees outsourced by the federal institute, the Soll company, materializing their performance as ecological subjects transforming the socio-educational space. The methodological procedures required to carry out this University Education and Extension Project are based on a qualitative and quantitative approach, with the aim of effectively understanding the process of building the identity of the employees of the Soll Company, outsourced by the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Pernambuco - Campus Recife, Cidade Universitária, in the municipality of Recife, Pernambuco. However, at the same time, what emerges from the research here is that in addressing these issues, the guarantees of freedomof expression and coexistence with different ideological, social and cultural positions, in other words, the knowledge of theories and dialogues on Environmental Education, gravitate towards promoting knowledge.
Autorenporträt
The authors of the study, which came out of a university extension project, have degrees in Geography (the first author), Cartographic Engineering (the second author) and Law (the third author). Although they are different areas of knowledge, they have in common the environmental theme as the guiding principle of their knowledge, in line with the sciences mentioned above.
