Within you because the best way to begin meaningful dialogue is to understand yourself with unmitigated candor, how you express yourself best, what endears you, what holds your attention in this hyper-mediated, globalizing world, and how you choose to leverage that understanding. Effective communication is predicated on the acknowledgement and respect of syntax [the purposeful nuances and structural distinctions in languages behind the acting individual's word choice(s)] and this is best attained directly through a comprehensively educated viewpoint (CEV). The current reality mediated by our electronic technologies forces us to attain a CEV if we are to achieve any degree of cohesively effective world understanding. "Cohesion" is the operative word especially when the endless array of streaming media introduces a fragmented, disjointed monstrosity of information into our daily lives leaving incoherent dribbles of unqualified data in its wake. In short, the viewer is harangued with a deluge of unintelligible information on a massive level in unmanageable speeds; ultimately, 'a cacophony of nothing'. In this manner, information has become commodified. In a 'catch-22', the individual is thus forced to be a savvy consumer of information when it is becoming increasingly impossible to do so.
