Autorenporträt

Valentina Copat is an expert in Mediterranean Prehistory, with a special interest in Bronze Age Southern Italy, Sicily and Malta. Within these research fields, she has published several papers focusing on stylistic variability in pottery production and on the reconstruction of the activities of past communities. She has been involved in several research projects, such as the excavations at the site of Oratino-La Rocca, and is a former member of the Italian Archaeological Mission. After her PhD, she became a researcher at Sapienza University of Rome and is currently curator archaeologist at the Capitoline Museums - Sovrintendenza Capitolina ai Beni Culturali, Rome.
