Teaching children about important concepts such as gratitude, kindness, and reflection is easy with these reader-friendly interactive books! Providing a book such as this for children to learn what it means to contemplate positive shared life experiences is exactly what can help set up good habits early on. These books are also a great way for kids to have fun and entertain themselves, for busy Moms and Dads! Most importantly the I'm Glad... series is encouraging children to be creative, contemplative, and they are a fun way to learn about who they are, and the people closest to them, cementing these lovely family memories forever. I'm Glad You're My Dad is a special book for children to celebrate their love for their dad and gives prompts and space for children to write, draw, and color about the things they do with their dads, the funny stories he tells, the adventures they go on together, the things he does to make them happy, their favorite day with him, and much more.

Autorenporträt
Cathy Phelan is an author, teacher, and photographer. Teaching and photography have provided Cathy with many happy years working with children, but it's her series of I'm Glad... children's books that are currently her biggest passion. The idea of I'm Glad... originated after a lovely sentiment written in a birthday card given to Cathy by her Mum... it set the series in motion. Cathy has combined the idea of engaging children into the reading process--cementing what they are reading--with the important notion of appreciating loved ones, and she is onto a great concept. Danielle McDonald began her career designing children's products for various industries including toys, bedding, furniture, art, craft materials, and apparel. She turned her attention to illustration when she became a mother and has gone on to create several well-loved characters for book series that include Ella Diaries, Ella and Olivia, Olivia's Secret Scribbles, and Tracy Lacy. She has also illustrated picture books, board books, and various collections of song books for children.
