Dr. Sylvia K. Morrison is an Assistant Professor of Early Childhood Education. With extensive experience in the education field, Dr. Morrison has worked with students enrolled in general and special education programs at the elementary and secondary levels and was an administrator in middle and high schools. In her role as a director of instructional programs, Dr. Morrison led district-wide PreK/Head Start programs. Dr. Morrison continues to facilitate workshops, professional trainings, and focus groups on developmentally appropriate practices for early learners as well as developing early literacy, critical thinking, and career readiness skills.
