This book is intended to be an extra tool for singers and teachers of voice. The living instrument that produces the sound is totally out of sight and cannot be heard accurately by the very singer who is performing the song. The ideas and instructions presented here are not meant to replace other methods of teaching voice but are intended, instead, to be an added help. Most people respond readily to graphic images. This book seeks to employ graphic images to aid in learning a difficult art with a difficult instrument. Long before this book was written, the pictures and ideas contained here were already "tested" on hundreds of my own students with great success. My students are the reason this book has finally been written...in the hopes that these ideas may help other singers and teachers.
