Autorenporträt
Philippe Baron is a 53-year-old French photographer who lives in Bangkok. He arrived in Thailand in early 2005 looking for a more laid-back life having grown tired of the rigmarole and constraints of living in Europe. As an escape from managing his France-based tech business from a distance, Philippe started blogging on his other passions - Thailand and photography - at monasie.com in 2006. He now spends much of his spare time documenting daily life in Bangkok and other parts of Thailand. He has a penchant for vibrant photography which captures real people going about their real lives
