Paul S. Minear is a graduate of Yale (Ph.D., 1932) and Iowa Wesleyan University (LL.D., 1942).. From 1933-34 he was Assistant Professor, Hawaii School of Religion, Honolulu; Professor, Garrett Biblical Institute (1933-44); Norris Professor, Andover Newton Theological School (1944-56); Winkley Professor of Biblical Theology, Yale Rector, Ecumenical Institute for Advanced Theological Study, Jerusalem. Dr. Minear is the author of a number of books including: 'An Introduction to Paul' (1937); 'And Great Shall be Your Reward' (1941); 'Eyes of Faith' (1946); 'The Choice' (1948); 'The Kingdom and the Power' (1950); 'Christian Hope and the Second Coming' (1954); 'Jesus and His People' (1956); 'Images of the Church in the New Testament' (1960); 'The Gospel according to Mark' ('Layman's Bible Commentaries,' 1962); and 'I Saw a New Earth' (Corpus Books, 1969).
